Happy Faery Friday! Friday belongs to Venus/Freya, so we honour the Goddess of Nature, Mother of the Fae, and it is time for our weekly Faery Forecast. This week, I felt drawn to work with the Art Through the Starstream Oracle and the Tarot of the Hidden Realm.
Spiritual guidance for the week ahead: This week is all about finding the balance between the divine masculine and the divine feminine. Our actions must reflect our faith. Our stewardship of creation is dependent on both our ability to be in tune with Nature and our ability to organise natural resources so that we can nourish those who depend on us.
Find time for contemplation and doing good in equal measure.
Interestingly, we have three court cards for our Tarot guidance. I believe (with the Crown Yourself card as the first message) that this week, rather than speaking of influences other people bring into our lives, these courtiers address how to grow spiritually.
Monday – Tuesday: Knight of Pentacles (Taurus) with Crown Yourself
To crown yourself, you must first repent. The crown of the King is the crown of the one who is dedicated to a life of service to his people, his flock. Most of us lead self-serving lives. Most of us don’t know how to pray, ‘Thy will be done.’ Most of us don’t live the truth of ‘Seek ye first the Kingdom of God…’ Few of us are good stewards and don’t know how to give.
At the start of the week, choose to dedicate the whole week to service
“Feed my sheep.”
Wednesday – Thursday: The Queen of Cups (Cancer) with Words Cannot Express It
Draw your nourishment deep from the well of the Mother. When you star gaze, look into Her soul. When you walk in the forest, allow her to wrap her arms around you. She can show you how all things connect – not so that you may dazzle others with your knowing but so that you may better serve Holy Mother-Father God.
“But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart.”
The Weekend: Page of Wands (Fire) with Choose a Natural Solution When Possible
Same card as last week for the weekend! It’s important that we allow ourselves to have fun, let our hair down and play too. Even the most dedicated servant of God needs to recharge. But let’s do so in natural, healthful ways, dear ones. Alcohol and recreational drugs are destructive and do the opposite of helping us recharge.
This could also be a heads up to stock up on herbal and homeopathic cold and flu remedies. Taking a garlic supplement all week should keep any colds away! You can choose to stay healthy the natural way this week and if you do, you’ll have much more fun over the weekend!
“Health and cheerfulness naturally beget each other.”
Or, as it says in the Bible:
“A merry heart doeth good like a medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones.”
