Dating the King of Wands

A natural-born leader, this guy is the Master of the Fire Element . If it is one thing he’s not short on it’s confidence.  But where will his confidence take him? Will he be on stage doing stand-up comedy or is he busy organising the next coup d’état? And what about intimacy? How important you are to him may ultimately be determined by how willing you are to share his vision. Is the man you love a King of Wands but abusing the Fire? Check out  8 Types of W*ankers where you’ll find a description of the reversed King of Wands. Pros: If you’re looking for a man to inspire you, this is your guy! He could sell snow to Eskimos. His optimism is extremely contagious. He’s a straight shooter. No second-guessing needed. He’s adventurous and loves to surprise the one he loves. He’s passionate and spontaneous and can make things really sparkle in the bedroom. He’s usually quite lucky. Cons: He can be a bit of a clown and sometimes suffers from foot-in-mouth disease. His spontaneity can go overboard and put himself (his health) and his family at risk (finances). He doesn’t like to feel tied down and is one of the Courtiers most prone to commitment phobia. He can be quite authoritarian and tends to see the world in black and white. Type of date he prefers: Anything spontaneous and active… surprise him! Time from your first date until you introduce him to your parents: Ohhhh… not so sure he wants to meet them at all. If he loves you, he’ll do it for you but only when he’s good and ready. Then again, if you tempt him with borrowing your dad’s yacht for a spontaneous weekend of fun and frolics in the sun… Wedding style: In a far-flung place surrounded by strangers suits him just fine and appeals to his sense of adventure. Type of dad he would make: The goofy side of his personality (it’s quite prominent even when he tries to hide it!) will love playing with the kids. He’ll also be interested in making sure they grow up with the right values and will encourage them to travel at an early age. He’ll want them to grow up to be independent and confident in their abilities. His best match: The Queen of Swords as a) she appreciates his philosophical side  and b) she doesn’t mind getting married far away from her family and friends. His worst match: The Queen of Pentacles who a) usually needs to stay where she has put her roots down and b) values a man who knows how to repair the tractor over a man who travels the world and writes self-help books....

Pros: He’s fun-loving and knows how to show his date a good time. He’s not afraid of attracting attention and usually doesn’t mind public displays of affection. He can be very generous. Young or not he’s usually sexually experienced which means you’ll have a good time doing the horizontal samba. Cons: He can also be very selfish. This is not all bad. The Knight of Wands type person can teach us girlies a thing or two about looking out for number one – he’s so very good at it! His sexual prowess means you really should take every precaution to make sure you don’t catch anything. Type of date he prefers: Action please! Bungy-jumping, ski diving, downhill skiing, paintballing, skinny dipping… You get the picture. Time from your first date until you introduce him to your parents: Tricky with this one as it may never happen. Commitment isn’t his forte. Wedding style: Las Vegas, baby! Be prepared for the annulment two days later when he sobers up. Type of dad he would make: Absentee, most likely… but if he’s around he’ll teach your kid some killer moves on the Xbox. Hide the games with inappropriate age ratings if he’s around younger kids. Discernment isn’t his forte either. The kids will love him though. Basically, he’s a big kid himself. His best match: The Queen of Wands as a) she won’t put up with his nonsense and b) she’s not likely to get too heavily attached emotionally. His worst match: The Queen of Pentacles because she would a) expect him to behave responsibly and b) be a good...
