You’re OK, I’m OK – Tarot Spread for Total Acceptance

lovers in moonlight

Let’s take a break from self-improvement and trying to ‘fix’ the relationship for a minute. What if everything is actually completely perfect just as it is and the only slight interference to relationship bliss is your ego’s insistence that something must be broken?

The truth is that you were born perfect and although your experiences have left you feeling confused, that perfection is didn’t go anywhere. You can still experience its brilliance once you surrender into the moment and accept things they way they are… including your own perfection and perceived quirks and flaws (which are part of your perfection, btw)…

So take a moment to ground and centre before you lay the cards out. Picture your naked soul, before it was born… do the same for your partner… watch these two souls descend into earthly form like two white doves… pure, innocent… nothing but love and a desire to learn the lessons ahead.

See these two bright lights clothed in human form… yours and your partner’s…

Now pick two tarot cards (1+2) and one oracle card (3), and lay them out according to the diagram below:

1. Your mask: This is any perceived imperfection in yourself that makes you forget who you truly are. Removing this mask will help you be true to yourself.

2. Their mask: This is anything you project onto your partner which makes you forget who they truly are. OR, if you are doing this together with your partner, any perceived imperfection in them that makes them forget who they truly are.

3. Divine vision for the relationship that emerges when you drop your masks: I recommend using the Whispers of Love Oracle, Art Through the Eyes of the Soul or Angel Heart Sigils for the oracle card draw… but any oracle with pure and loving messages that you feel drawn to use will work.

Blessed Be!

  1. Reblogged this on Let the light shine from within you… and commented:
We have this tendency to see trouble where there is none. Fear is our biggest enemy. It leads us onto the wrong path. It makes Ego seem like it is our greatest friend while it robs us of everything that we must never give up – Love, Peace, Harmony, Humility, Gratitude…Happiness. But we give it all away, just like that. Ego makes us miserable for the rest of our lives whining over something totally non-existent – Pride and Honor. And we still don’t get it. We blindly follow rules, perceptions and beliefs that are not our own!! All out of fear…of isolation!

Love on the other hand is so simple that it scares us. We are so accustomed to rules and boundaries. We need conditions and customs. But there are no rules in love. There are no conditions, no boundaries, no limitations, no restrictions. None at all. If there is, it is not love. It is something else. A deal. A game. An arrangement. An understanding. A compromise. And that’s what we are taught to succeed at…we look at love as something to win, achieve, acquire, conquer! Whereas it is the opposite…love is about surrender! Love is about letting go…

Follow, believe, trust and surrender to the magical powers of LOVE and let it reveal how magical, powerful, unstoppable, uncontrollable it is!!

  2. Love the post and the picture, hope you don’t mind if I use the picture and quote your words on my blog? I will link my post to this blog with credits. Thanks in advance.

    1. Thanks. Please do not copy the text in full as that hurts my google rankings. You are only allowed to reblog with a snippet and link to my blog. All materials on this site are copyrighted. Any breach of this will be reported.

  3. Ah! I got Page of Swords for Card 1, The Magician for Card 3. (left out the 2nd card as you mentioned). Kinda taking this as being a bit guarded and on defense. Quick to push away even? Which is funny because im a very loving, supportive person but not very open to allowing others to do the same for me. The magician is always a bit hard for me to read as its auch a major card but i think I have a good idea as to what it means, in this context. 🙂 good spread! Now, to work on removing the mask…. haha

      1. Oh! Oops! I completely overread the oracle card part. I read this in the morning and did the next evening. Must have slipped my mind. I’ll do again and see what comes! //sorry for the late response, I overlooked the notification. Gonna go read your, “How to stop reading the tarot like a little bitch” post.. haha! Excited. Love the title. Lololol.

PS. How are the runes practices coming? (I followed your facebook a few months back but haven’t checked in) I haven’t done mine in a few months but have been feeling the itch. You still practicing regularly?

  4. Great post! If I were in a relationship I would totally do this spread for myself and my love. However, I am solo so maybe I’ll just do them for others? Ha! <3
