Affirmations are for changing negative self-talk to positive self-talk, as well as to use our god-given power to co-create our lives in the best way possible, for the Highest Good of All. Prayer is about invoking grace for the situation at hand. Sometimes prayer and affirmations blend. Personally, I have found that affirmations that begin with thanksgiving (a form of prayer) work best to create the most powerful and rapid life changes.
As part of a Tarot affirmation series, today we are covering some of the best physical healing affirmations* to use with the Tarot as a visual aid to further strengthen the effect and to use the power of the symbolic language of the Tarot to tap the subconscious. If the subconscious mind is not on board with the affirmation you are speaking, you will not be able to create change.
Tarot is magic in its own right and magic can tap the subconscious because it speaks the same mystical, ‘irrational’ language. It could be argued that you need no other magical tools than these 78 pieces of cardboard that have been referred to as the ‘Book of Life.’ The 78 Keys of the Tarot can unlock many levels of every aspect of our lives and today the focus is on the physical body.
You can use the affirmations below any time the cards pop in a reading if you feel that this is appropriate or you can use them to cast spells at auspicious times, such as the Full Moon being in the sign corresponding with the card. For this reason, I have included all the zodiac correspondences, as well as the Archangelic correspondences for anyone wishing to use angelic sigils or other symbolic correspondences to strengthen the intent and to invoke angelic assistance (which is pretty much always a good idea!).
The first seven Tarot card affirmations correspond to each of the seven chakras and the final three are general health and wellbeing affirmations. The deck used is the Frideborg Tarot but you can use these with any deck that speaks to you.
