2018 Tarot Review

We’re coming up to the end of 2018 and it is time for the annual Tarot Year Review. This year, I decided to upload in plenty of time for the first day of the review which is 1 December. For this year’s review, I have put together an eBook that has a daily 2-card Tarot spread for each journaling prompt.

Please feel free to share your reading or just a picture of the cards you pulled for that day with the hashtag #2018TarotReview on social media.

The diary taught me that it is in the moments of emotional crisis that human beings reveal themselves most accurately. I learned to choose the heightened moments because they are the moments of revelation.
~ Anais Nin

There are a few days off to catch up on prompts that have been missed out between Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve.

There is mention of Christmas in this eBook so feel free to adapt those prompts to the holiday you’re celebrating (if any!) – It’s totally fine to skip prompts that feel irrelevant for any reason.

Share as much or as little as you wish on social media and in the Tarot Geekery group on FB.

I recommend printing the book out and putting the pages in a ringbinder. If you want to get really creative, you can draw and colour a symbol from each card drawn in the card frame, rather than just writing the cards’s name/title. This will not only help you remember your thoughts better but can also prompt further creative ideas for the each prompt.

When I go back and read my journals or fiction, I am always surprised. I may not remember having those thoughts, but they still exist and I know they are mine, and it’s all part of making sense of who I am.
~ Amy Tan

I hope you enjoy your 2018 Tarot Year Review whether you choose to share your draws/thoughts or not. I totally understand sharing only some or none at all as the cards can be intensely candid – especially if we are truly open to change and improve ourselves.

Love and Blessings,

Lisa Frideborg

  1. Lisa, I AM massively digging this! Goddess Knows, I have done other Tarot Challenges, especially on Instagram, and at some point, I simply let it go by the wayside, and do not do every day of said Tarot Challenge.

However, with Goddess Grace, I shall stick to every day of this particular one, and shall happily use your requested hashtag of #2018TarotReview so that you can easily find it.

As always, thank you for all you do.
