What if what the world perceives as a weakness in you could be one of your greatest strengths and the soul medicine the world needs right now? Being misunderstood is part of being a misfit. Seeking validation from people who have ‘made it’ is rarely helpful because the qualities that got them to the top are usually what you are here to expose as power-mongering (especially true if you are an Indigo). While you may be aware of this at some level, are you aware that your own ‘weaknesses’ are part of the healing you signed up to deliver in this lifetime?
From time to time, I will share what I’m currently reading if I suspect it may be useful to my fellow misfits. Rise Sister Rise by Rebecca Campbell (Amazon UK link) is a book that has many useful prompts to help with soul healing for spiritual misfits – not just for women but for anybody who is ready to embrace the Divine Feminine within. I love this book because it is helping me trust my own wisdom.
Last night I found some cool prompts that begged to be turned into a three cards Tarot spread:
Pull three cards. The card on the left shows you what your unique strength is. This will be something that you have been accused of being ‘too much’ of. The card in the middle shows you how to nurture this strength. The card on the right shows you how what this strength looks like when you bring it out into the world, nurtured and validated from within yourself:
- Knight of Pentacles. I am often accused of being too stubborn. Had I not been this stubborn I would be dead by now. I often wanted to die when I was younger but I knew deep down that I would have to come back and do it all again if I checked out early so I persevered.
- 2 of Cups. The reason I persevered was because on some level I knew I was here to learn about love and love kept me going. I source this love from within now. I am complete and no longer seek love or validation from the outside. This is my medicine. The two halves have come together within me. Divine masculine and feminine in harmony.
- Temperance. The soul alchemy I can bring to the world is showing as the card of soul alchemy. The Tarot loves these kind of games.
With everything that has happened to you, you can either feel sorry for yourself or treat what has happened as a gift. Everything is either an opportunity to grow or an obstacle to keep you from growing. You get to choose.
I would love to hear what you get if you decide to pull cards for these three prompts. Share in the comments below!
So much love!
