The Alchemy of the Hive: Why We’re Moving to TheTarotHive.com
Change is the essence of alchemy—the transformation of one state into another, refined and perfected through time and intention. At The Tarot Hive, I’m embracing this alchemical process as we transition to a unified platform that reflects my evolving understanding and vision. Like the intricate, harmonious world of the beehive, the Tarot weaves together diverse energies and archetypes into a cohesive whole. The Hive is a symbol of collective wisdom, tireless creation, and the interconnectedness of all things, providing a natural metaphor for the journey I would like to share with you over at the Tarot Hive.
Why shift from angels (Angelorum means ‘of the angels’) to bees? While angels represent a powerful and sacred energy, they are often entangled in religious and cultural frameworks that can feel restrictive or exclusive. The concept of the hive, on the other hand, is universal. It speaks to collaboration, shared purpose, and the sweet rewards of aligned effort. This doesn’t mean I’m leaving behind the mystical realms of angels—far from it. We will still explore angelic wisdom (as well as a plethora of other occult and metaphysical topics) but through the lens of consciousness and personal empowerment. The Tarot Hive allows for an inclusive exploration of all energies, whether celestial, earthly, or based on unverified personal gnosis.
From an alchemical perspective, the process of making honey mirrors the transformative Fool’s Journey. The nectar—raw potential—is gathered, worked, and ultimately turned into something golden and nourishing. Like bees, we engage in alchemy, weaving meaning and abundance from the threads of experience, using the Tarot as our messaging system. I aim to create a space that celebrates this alchemy—a sanctuary where wisdom, community, and creation flourish together.
