Surprisingly Urgent Changes to My Sacred Tarot Blogging Journey

sacred tarot blogging journey

Happy St Patrick’s Day, everyone! Thank you so much for checking in with me! We’re only in March and things have changed so drastically in 2025 that I felt an update about my sacred tarot blogging journey was overdue. Toward the end of 2024, I announced a new website, TheTarotHive.com. I intended to transfer all the posts I wanted to keep from Angelorum to this site. The Tarot Hive was to be my only website toward the end of this year. There were a couple of reasons for this: I wanted to a) focus more on Earth-centred spirituality and b) create a platform for people to engage more as a community. This meant starting a new Substack with the same name as well.

However, not only did it turn out to be too much (hello my old friend burnout) to work on both sites and decide which of my 1.3K+ posts (blogging since 2006) to keep. I also soon realised that the angels weren’t done with me. Specifically, my journey with the Shem HaMephorash took another turn and I started a series of spreads to help readers connect with their guidance.

Now I’m in the process of deciding which posts to keep from The Tarot Hive instead but I don’t feel any rush there. “Working for the angels,” I have a greater sense of peace and trust in providence. In hindsight, this was not a good year to rush headfirst into a massive new project. Although I have healed from religious trauma, I’m still working on integrating all the bits and pieces from my spiritual journey I wish to keep. This means new foundations need to grow organically, without any outside pressure or the need to make it a “success”. Yes, this Capricorn is finally learning to be kind to herself.

Magdalene Myrrhophore Magic

In the past, it’s been difficult for me to separate blogging as a way of learning/teaching/activating from blogging for a business. In February this year, I realised that I’m more of a mystic and priestess than a businesswoman so I have changed my services to donation-based. This, surprisingly, created the energetic shift needed for me to step firmly onto my path as a Magdalene Priestess. Not long after, I followed Spirit’s guidance on this, I found the energy to also engage fully with the Aromatherapy studies I started years ago and hope to complete this summer.

I feel that this is the next right step on my path of services as a Magdalene Priestess because the Tarot and Sacred Oils complement each other so perfectly. As I learn more about how to serve as a myrrhophore, I’m sharing what I find about essential/sacred oils on a new blog. I have so much peace about this new learning venture. My new blog is a free WordPress blog, unlike thetarothive.com which brought new overheads. Honestly, I don’t care if anybody else reads what I share there. It’s more of a path of self-exploration and a digital notebook for my Aromatherapy studies.

My Sacred Tarot Blogging Journey on Angelorum

The angels guided me to start Angelorum in 2015 and are still with me. For a while, I felt abandoned by them. However, I understand they left me alone to help me figure things out as I was healing from RTS. It feels like any fragmented soul parts have been reintegrated and I can keep sharing here from a purer and more aligned place.

As I have made peace with my Christian background and reconstructed my faith, I found that there was much of my cultural and personal heritage I wished to keep. It’s safe for me to keep what I enjoy, without the dogma and with a metaphysical twist. It gives me immense pleasure to rejoice in the beauty of Scripture (both orthodox and more ‘heretical’) without the need to buy into any beliefs.

My security comes from the Spirit that dwells in all our hearts, not the ego-mind’s need to be right. Yeshua was never about ‘right beliefs’ and always about treating others the way we’d like to be treated. I can love God with all my heart but I can’t be sure my beliefs are correct. Thank goodness humanity on the whole is moving away from the nonsense of religious dogma.

Beyond Dogma…

“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field. I’ll meet you there.

When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase “each other” doesn’t make any sense.”
-Rumi

It is, of course, no coincidence that these course corrections on my sacred tarot blogging journey take place now. My Moon, Mars and North Node in Pisces are activated by Neptune, Saturn and the North Node.

Thank you so much, sacred traveller and fellow Tarot Fool for accompanying me on this journey!
