A Fiery Lesson

It is Sunday , the moon stands in the zodiac sign Aries , waning (3rd Quater)
Here are some influencing powers of the day: element is fire, apparatus sense organs, quality of the day – warm day, part of plant fruit, body zone: nose, eyes, brain, head, color: red, complementary color: yellow/blue

CARD OF THE DAY – 5 of Wands Rx from the Dalí Tarot

The fives are life’s lessons and the wands symbolise the element of fire. The card was reversed, which means that I’m either resisting a lesson, or am about to pass into the next phase because I’ve finished this particular lesson. The reversal of the 5 of Wands can also signify an internal conflict and/or suppressed anger.

Personal notes: This card is telling me that I need to continue clearing out old repressed emotions. I’m getting there slowly. When I’m done, I’ll be able to fly off like one of the butterflies in the Dalí illustration of the 5 of Wands.

Full Moon Esbat Celebration

Last night was a wonderful esbat, celebrated in solitude, but not alone. I was surrounded by angels and spirit helpers and the magick was strong. I’m not surprised that the theme of fire continued today with a card from the Wands suit – the Moon is still in fiery Aries.

I long for more fire in my life, but in order to bring in healthy, joyous, spiritually transforming fire, I need to clear out angry old fire energy that lies in my heart like lumps of coal or petrified lava.

I pulled two other cards that support my quest: The Ace of Cups Rx, telling me that I’m still healing my emotions – there’s no rush; and the wonderful King of Wands, who guides me and restores my confidence on my journey towards mastery of the element of fire. As within so without, as above so below.
