Welcome to Angelorum! My name is Lisa, and I’m a Tarot reader and metaphysical blogger. I’m so happy to have you here. Angelorum is Latin for ‘of the Angels,’ and this blog is my sacred haven for exploring the realms of the occult, mysticism, and spirituality.
Ancestral Roots & Early Awakening
My fascination with the mystical began with my grandmother, a natural-born seer and medium of Saami ancestry. She shared stories of encountering fairies and sensing spirits. Sometimes, she would put the kettle on, knowing intuitively that visitors were on their way—sure enough, moments later, there would be a knock at the door.
Otherworldly experiences have always had a strong pull on me, including the OBE I recounted in this post. These experiences led me to explore metaphysical and occult topics from a young age. I picked up my first book on Numerology at age 10.
My First Tarot Reading
A pivotal moment came at 15 when I performed my first Tarot reading for a friend. The reading revealed a dark secret—her experience of abuse. This revelation empowered her to seek help and end her suffering. That first reading experience deepened my connection to the mysteries and eventually solidified my path as a Tarot reader.
A Spiritual Journey Across Continents
At 16, I travelled to the United States for a high school exchange program. During that time, I embraced Christianity and joined an Evangelical Baptist church. For the first time, I briefly experienced a powerful sense of belonging. However, their rigid beliefs, especially about eternal damnation for non-believers, caused deep cognitive dissonance. Over time, I realised that a traditional Christian framework could not contain my mystical experiences but I never lost my love for Yeshua or his teachings.
Healing & Transformation
Thirteen years after returning to Sweden, I moved to the UK. By then, I had left the church but hadn’t recognised that I was still suffering from Religious Trauma Syndrome (RTS). It wasn’t until the spring/summer of 2023 that I fully healed. Identifying the root cause was key, and my healing modalities included EFT, Reiki, and a Tarot-based art therapy project.

- Certified Angel Card Reader™ & Bach Flower Essences Therapist (2015): Holistic guidance and emotional healing.
- Jikiden Reiki (Levels 1 & 2, 2016): Traditional Japanese Reiki, closer to Usui Sensei’s teachings.
- Angel Medium Certification (2017): Strengthening my natural angelic connections.
- Certified Meditation Instructor (2019): Facilitating mindfulness and inner peace.
- Spiritual Counsellor, Crystal & Angel Reiki Healer (2022): Blending intuitive guidance with energetic healing.
The Frideborg Tarot Deck
In 2015, I created The Frideborg Tarot, a project that deepened my connection to Tarot symbolism. The deck has been featured in Take a Break’s Fate & Fortune Magazine, and I was honoured to speak at the UK Tarot Conference (2016).
Walking the Spiral Pathway
My Tarot practice has come full circle. Just as in my first reading, I now trust the Divine to guide me as I interpret the cards. I fully embrace my calling as a Tarot Reader.
