Hi, I’m Lisa — also working under the Craft name Tanit Iris LeFay — a metaphysical writer, Tarot practitioner, and mystic based in the UK since 2002.
If you’ve found your way here, you’re probably less interested in being told what to think and more interested in learning how to see clearly. The work I share is rooted in practices that refine perception and return authority to your own lived experience.
My Path into Tarot and Symbolic Practice
I grew up in Stockholm, Sweden, in the 1970s. My Sámi grandmother was a natural seer who would intuitively put the kettle on just before unexpected visitors arrived.
At 15, I did my first Tarot reading for a friend using a cardboard cut-out deck from a magazine. What I saw in the cards helped her find words for something she had been carrying for a long time. That experience taught me the heart of this work: truth, courage, and compassion.
In my late teens, my path detoured through Evangelical Christianity. I still love Christ, but fear-based dogma and I are not a match. Leaving the church around the time of my first Saturn return was only the beginning. Deconstruction is an ongoing journey, and these days I tend to hold labels lightly.
How I Work with Tarot, Runes, and Angels
Tarot remains my primary symbolic language and the foundation of my work. I also work with the runes, angelic traditions, mythology, astrology, and other symbolic systems that help illuminate the patterns shaping our lives.
Over the years, I have shared this work through teaching, writing, readings, and speaking at the UK Tarot Conference.
Angelorum is where I explore Tarot, angels, astrology, mythology, and symbolic traditions through articles, studies, reflections, and practical resources.
In 2026, I also launched lisaeddy.co.uk, a more personal home for my wider research into metaphysics, consciousness, spirituality, symbolism, and the questions that emerge at the crossroads between ancient wisdom and modern life.
Whether through my writing or Tarot readings, my aim is not to provide answers for you, but to help you develop a deeper relationship with the symbols, archetypes, and patterns already present in your own life.
