As one of the Dominions serving under Archangel Zadkiel in the Sephirah of Chesed, Seheiah reminds us that foresight is more than psychic ability or predicting the future. It is the wisdom to recognise Divine guidance in the present moment and respond before fear, illness or misfortune gain a foothold.
In Tarot, Seheiah corresponds with the 6 of Wands (Jupiter in Leo), a card of confidence, resilience and well-earned victory. Together with Yerathel, she governs the second decan of Leo, encouraging us to move through life with courage, optimism and quiet trust in Divine providence.

Seheiah and the 6 of Wands
At first glance, the connection between Seheiah and the 6 of Wands seems obvious. Both speak of victory, confidence and success. Yet the more I reflected on this correspondence, the more I realised the angel reveals how that victory is achieved.
The rider on the 6 of Wands doesn’t triumph through luck alone. The battle has already been fought. Wisdom, courage and perseverance have carried them through adversity. That feels very much like Seheiah’s ministry. Rather than promising a life free from challenges, this angel helps us recognise danger before it overwhelms us, make wiser decisions and recover more quickly when difficulties arise.
As the Angel of Foresight, Seheiah reminds us that many victories begin long before they become visible. Every healthy choice, every quiet act of courage and every moment of discernment helps shape the future we’re creating today. Foresight is not simply the ability to glimpse what lies ahead. Tarot de Marseille Triad
Seheiah’s meditation mantra, שאה (Shin-Aleph-Hei), corresponds to the Tarot de Marseille triad of The World, The Magician and The Pope. The three Hebrew letters are Shin, Aleph and Hei. I’m using the Sephardic Kabbalah Tarot de Marseille system taught by Michel Perez Rizzi in The 72 Names of God. What struck me about this triad is how naturally it reflects Seheiah’s ministries of healing and foresight. Rather than predicting the future, it teaches us how to become more whole, more conscious and more receptive to Divine guidance in the present.
Shin — XXI The World
The World represents wholeness, fulfilment and integration. Before healing can truly begin, we first need to recognise where we’ve become fragmented or disconnected from ourselves. Seheiah invites us to see the bigger picture, reminding us that every challenge forms part of a much larger journey. Foresight begins with stepping back far enough to recognise the patterns shaping our lives.
Aleph — I The Magician
The Magician marks the moment we choose to participate in our own healing. Rather than waiting for circumstances to change, we begin using the gifts, opportunities and wisdom already available to us. Seheiah reminds us that many future difficulties can be avoided through conscious action in the present. Every wise decision becomes an act of cooperation with Divine Wisdom.
Hei — V The Pope
The Pope represents spiritual wisdom, guidance and the passing on of sacred knowledge. As healing matures into understanding, we naturally become a source of encouragement for others. Seheiah teaches that true foresight isn’t simply knowing what may happen next. It is learning to live in harmony with Divine Wisdom so that our lives become an example of hope, resilience and faith.
How to Work With Seheiah
Seheiah is a wonderful angel to call upon whenever you need healing, protection or the wisdom to recognise potential problems before they develop. Before you begin, spend a few moments in quiet reflection and state your intention as honestly as you can. Rather than focusing on what you fear, ask to be guided towards the wisest course of action for the highest good.
Reciting Psalm 71:12 is a beautiful way to open your prayer:
“O God, do not be far from me; O my God, make haste to help me.”
Pray the words slowly, allowing them to become an expression of trust rather than urgency. Invite Seheiah to help you recognise the guidance, opportunities and small course corrections that can prevent greater difficulties later on.
Since Seheiah belongs to Chesed under the rulership of Archangel Zadkiel, you may like to light a purple or magenta candle during prayer or meditation. Holding a piece of Red Jasper can also help you stay grounded and resilient, especially during periods of recovery or major life transitions.
Seheiah’s mantra, Sheh-Ah-Heh, lends itself beautifully to contemplative meditation. Repeat it gently until your breathing becomes calm and your mind begins to settle.
