Top 10 Anxiety Tarot Affirmations

Woman suffering from anxiety

Working with positive affirmations is an effective way to create the changes we desire in our life. Fear and anxiety can create lots of limitations on both our well-being and the ability to fulfill our potential in life. Today, for the third part of our Tarot affirmations series, we are looking at how to use Tarot affirmations to overcome general low-level anxiety, social anxiety, fear, and tension.

Please note that you should always speak to a medical health care professional about any problems with fear and anxiety that are affecting your quality of life, especially if your sleep is also affected. Tarot affirmations are a complementary tool for wellbeing, just like using essential oils or crystals to enhance your quality of life. The Tarot should never be used to replace the advice of your doctor or other health care professionals.

As someone who has suffered from fear, depression, anxiety, and panic attacks from childhood well into adulthood (I’m now 46 and have been completely well for many years), I can vouch for the healing power of the Tarot. The Tarot teaches us how things fit together, helps us see the bigger picture, and connect the dots. Every aspect of life is covered by the 78 Keys and their countless combinations. Together they act as a mirror for the soul and can provide guidance for our journey. The cards can help us feel less ‘alone’ when we contemplate the fact that the wisdom of the ancients is being reflected back at us.

Our problems, small and big, are all already known. Each card mirroring one of our problems contains within the key to its resolution. This knowledge alone is enough to begin soothing a worried mind. Many Tarot readers also find that the act of shuffling the cards has a soothing, grounding, and centering effect.

The deck used in this post is the Frideborg Tarot but you can use these affirmations with any deck that speaks to you. Carry the card with you as a reminder or take a photo of the card/affirmation you are working with and keep it as the screen saver on your phone.

  1. So glad to have news from you! I was starting to get worried for you. You never take so long to post. I missed you. Love your advice. Always timely. And, as a matter of fact, I had been feeling a bit strange over the last days, not hungry at all anytime and very sleepy, though not tired. And all that in spite of having had a great time with someone very dear to me (who has been going through some difficulties). So this post comes right on time. Thank you!
As for a “stalker” card, I must admit I have some issues with more masculine influenced cards as the Emperor and the Hierophant. They make me uneasy somehow and I’m never glad to see them in a spread. Don’t know why. Can you help me change that?

Hi Lidia, I blog less these days because I’m busy with other things. Feel free to follow me on Instagram (tarotize) if you want a dose of daily guidance 🙂 The Emperor is about owning your own masculine power, so think of some affirmations that will help you do that. The Hierophant is about finding our (revolutionary?) place within patricarchy… of course being careful to not throw the baby out with the bath water. We do stand on the shoulder of giants and there is much wisdom to be gained by studying traditional teachings. Simply shift your focus to the positive aspects of the Hierophant. Also if you are meant to teach yourself, you can draw on his strength. Blessings, Lisa

  2. Thank you for this Affirmations! I’m suffer from depression, anxiety and panicattacks. Started when I run in to wellknown wall and get outburned. I properbly will have this with me for the rest of my life because the three of them is a part of my kidney disease that ruin a big part of life because the pain makes you stay in bed a loot and your life you have lived became like the Tower, unpredictable but you need to go through it!!
I will rather learn to use tarotaffirmation to get rid of anxiety and depression than all meds I have to eat every single day! I’m not good at making affirmation by my self (if they don’t are meant to hit on you and beat you down evem more ) so this is a real help <3.
Hope you continue get them pop out in your head and the blog so I one day have 79 to use for diffrent situation.
You are so AMAZING Lisa, you don't know how much your blogs and groups mean to me <3. I saw you are 2 years younger than me but you are kind of a nurturing mother with all your knowledge and all tips to heal.

I don't have my mother in life anymore and when I feel I need a little motherlove I read old blogpost or post from your blogs. Maybe I sound like a maniac stalker but I'm more sensitive and missing mum so much today because yesterday it was 3 years since she went to the other side only 69 year and 5 days old. In a few days I will sound less like your lunatic stalker, I promise.

Take Care of you Lisa and Blessed be! Thank you for all you do for me and other people just out of pure love<3

Thank you very much for your kind words, Jess. I’m so sorry about the loss of your mother. I dread the day mine passes because how do you grieve for a mother who mostly wasn’t there but who is still so incredibly important to me. Mine is slowly fading away from dementia in a nursing home in Sweden and there is nothing I can day but keep her in my prayers.

As for the assumption that you will suffer for the rest of your life… please let go of that assumption. No matter what our circumstances, we can always cultivate peace of mind. You are in charge of your mind and emotions, not the other way around. Anything else is just illusion. For me, realising that my health was in my own hands when I was in my late 20’s and extremely ill, was the turning point. I slowly recovered from a state of utter despair and physical as well as emotional pain.

I still have some physical issues but those I manage by taking VERY good care of my health, even to the point of having given up coffee recently as you know. Every little victory counts… So the question you could ask yourself is ‘What can I do today to improve my health and wellbeing?’

It is so easy to keep going with the old routine but there is power in the courage to transform our lives. That courage has a quickening effect. I think you have much to still enjoy in life, Jess, and I believe you have what it takes to create all of the changes that will bring you back your health and peace of mind.

      Love and Blessings,

      Lisa

      1. Thank you Lisa <3
I'm so sorry for your mother! To see a person getting worse and worse in dementia is a terror. My grandma died having dementia. And you can't even just decide that today I visit her if your not rich as a troll or have your on plane…So sorry for you <3
What I mean by suffer for the rest in my life, is in LPHS (kidney disease) those 3 are the biggest side effects so I have to fight it and found ways go hold them back. I have understand that I must take better care of my health but stop drinking coffe is a big fear, or not stop but to fail.
I 'm going to start my mornings with your question about What I can do today to improve my health and wellbeing? Sooner or later I will start recive divine message about it and help from them to follow it!
Thanks for that simple way to start a new path!

        Love and Blessings,
        Jess
