Are you a neurodivergent Tarot reader? You’re not alone! Let’s take a look at the top Neurodivergent Tarot card combos! While we should never ever use the Tarot cards to diagnose/label ourselves or anyone else, I thought it would be interesting to look at various forms of neurodivergent expression through the lens of the Tarot. Bear in mind that not all forms of neurodiversity have (or indeed warrant) a diagnosis.
So, what qualifies me to write this article? Nothing really. But I do consider myself neurodivergent as well as a seer and a Tarot reader/teacher. I also have family members who have been diagnosed with spectrum disorders. People who know me well, know that I share many traits with high-masking autistic people as well as with people who have ADHD, However, at this stage, I have chosen to not seek a diagnosis. One of the reasons is my disappointment from previous interactions with the medical establishment. Additionally, I understand from the most recent research that there is most likely a lot of overlap between ASD disorders and trauma-related conditions.
Until this has been clarified, I don’t really see a reason to seek label or diagnose myself. Finally, my viewpoint is that being neurodivergent often equals being gifted with superpowers that most people don’t have. I recommend THIS VIDEO by Neurodivergent Doctor for a nuanced view of autism.
You can take what I say and show you here with a grain of salt or just skip it altogether… Up to you, really! However, if you do read this, and especially if you also identify as neurodivergent as well Tarot literate/Tarot curious, please let me know your thoughts in the comments. The list below is by now means exhaustive.
