A threshold of beauty, truth, and relational recalibration
The Full Moon in Libra peaks on April 1 (US) and in the early hours of April 2 (UK/Europe), illuminating the axis of self and other with unusual intensity. Libra seeks harmony—but this lunation makes it clear that true harmony cannot be built on illusion.

With an Aries stellium pressing from the opposite side and Pluto stirring deep currents beneath the surface, this is not a polite Full Moon. It is a refining fire dressed in silk.
This is where we see what is real—and what was only ever a beautiful bubble.
Planetary Aspects — Pressure, Truth, and Transformation
This lunation is shaped by a powerful web of aspects that demand honesty and evolution:
The Cardinal T-Square (Sun–Moon–Jupiter)
The Full Moon in Libra opposes the Sun in Aries, both squaring Jupiter in Cancer. This creates emotional amplification—especially around family, belonging, and relational expectations. There is tension between:
- personal will (Aries),
- relational balance (Libra),
- emotional security (Cancer).
Expansion is inevitable—but not without discomfort.
Venus (Ruler of the Moon) Square Pluto
This is the defining undercurrent.
Venus in Taurus seeks stability, sensuality, and peace. Pluto in Aquarius demands truth, transformation, and collective evolution. Together, they expose:
- power dynamics in relationships,
- attachments rooted in fear rather than love,
- values that no longer align with who you are becoming.
Anything performative will feel brittle now.
Anything real will deepen.
Aries Stellium (Sun, Saturn, Neptune, Chiron)
This is where identity is being rewritten.
Saturn asks for maturity.
Neptune dissolves false identities.
Chiron reveals the wound behind the mask.
You are not who you were six months ago—and your relationships must adjust accordingly.
Mercury Trine Jupiter
A lifeline.
There is wisdom available through conversation, journaling, prayer, and intuitive listening. Truth can be spoken—but it must be anchored in compassion.
Mars Sextile Uranus
A quiet but potent opening for change.
Small, courageous actions can shift long-standing patterns—especially around money, embodiment, and self-worth.
The Sabian Symbol for 13° Libra
“Children blowing soap bubbles”
This symbol holds the key to the entire lunation.
“The cultural fantasies through which young minds dream of perfect fulfilment.”
Dane Rudhyar speaks of this as imaginative play—the human capacity to envision beauty, harmony, and perfection before it exists in form.
But there is a catch.
A bubble is luminous, iridescent… and fleeting.
It exists in a state of temporary perfection—then dissolves.
The deeper teaching here is not to reject the bubble, but to understand its nature.
This Full Moon asks:
- Where have I been enchanted by appearances?
- What have I idealised that cannot sustain itself in reality?
- Am I willing to let the illusion burst without losing my capacity for wonder?
Because the goal is not cynicism.
It is mature imagination—the ability to create beauty that can endure.
Rudhyar points to this symbol as part of a larger cultural process: the dreaming of ideals that eventually shape collective reality. But before that happens, those ideals must be tested.
And that is where Pluto enters the picture.
Pluto’s Role — From Fantasy to Truth
With Venus square Pluto, this lunation becomes an alchemical threshold.
Pluto does not destroy for the sake of it. It strips away what is not essential.
In the context of this Sabian symbol:
- the bubble = idealised relationship, projection, fantasy
- Pluto = the force that asks: Can this hold weight? Can this live in truth?
If the answer is no, the bubble bursts.
Not as punishment—but as liberation.
Because what remains is something far more powerful:
clarity
sovereignty
real love

7. The Value Shift (Venus Square Pluto)
What must change in my values, standards, or boundaries?
8. The Diamond
What remains when the illusion dissolves?

How can I create something real, balanced, and enduring?
Working with This Lunation
This is not about abandoning beauty, romance, or vision.
It is about refining them.
Libra still wants harmony—but now it must be built on truth, not projection.
If something dissolves, let it.
If something deepens, trust it.
And if you find yourself holding a soap bubble—admire its colours, appreciate its magic…
…but do not try to build your life on it.
Because what this Full Moon offers, ultimately, is not illusion.
It is clarity shaped into beauty.

So how telling is this? 9 of Discs, 4 of Discs, Knight of Swords, 3 of Swords, 2 of Discs reversed, Judgment and Page of Wands reversed? I clearly need to work on my own worth especially in finances, and my own intense rebirth and put relationships on the way back burner! No wonder I feel so tired with this full moon!
