Hi, I’m Lisa — a Drakruna Witch based in the UK since 2002. I work with Tarot, runes, dragons, and angels as living flames. If you found your way here, you are probably, like me, less interested in being told what to think and more interested in learning how to see.
I grew up in Stockholm, Sweden, in the 1970s. My Sámi grandmother was a natural seer who would put the kettle on just before the arrival of unexpected visitors. At 15, I did my first Tarot reading for a friend with a cardboard cutout deck from a magazine. What I saw in the cards helped her find words for what she’d been carrying. That day taught me the heart of this work: truth, courage, compassion.
In my late teens, my path detoured through Evangelical Christianity. I still love Yeshua, but fearmongering dogma and I are a poor fit. Leaving the church around the time of my first Saturn return was only the start. Deconstruction is an ongoing journey.
Now my practice is simple: keep the flame heart-centred and be of service. The runes teach wyrd in motion. The Tarot cards show the lessons we all have to navigate. Angels are living flames we can work with to grow and evolve.
