Dagaz Rune Tarot Spread

The Dagaz rune is the rune of the Eternal Light, which is at the core of everything and without which nothing would exist. It is a rune of enlightenment and awakening to our true spiritual nature. The shape of the rune is that of a stylised lemniscate.

Dagaz is like the light of dawn when light first breaks through the darkness of night – symbolic of the light of understanding breaking through the thick black cloud of ignorance and forgetting that we are all under with regards to our true nature and final destination.

In our world, this Light is hiding most of the time, but now and again, it breaks through the dense fog of ‘reality.’ When the light breaks through, it inevitably leads to miracles, epiphanies and awakenings.
