Lucifer of Nazareth

The Lucifer of Nazareth Tarot Spread

Lucifer of Nazareth

Could Yeshua be an avatar/incarnation of Lucifer? That’s such a shocking question that some of you may have already clicked on to read about something else, muttering about heresies under your breath as you surf on. In which case, happy surfing! It’s not a question I had even began to ponder for myself until I came across ‘Lucifer of Nazareth’ YouTube lecture by Ariel Gatoga. Some of you may recall me mentioning him in connection with Psalm Magic. Ariel Gatoga is a phenomenal teacher of the Craft and the Pauline Arts in particular.

While I had read some surface level material in that tradition, I never got far enough into it to realise that it views the Angel Lumiel as both Lucifer and Yeshua the Christ. According to Ariel, the use of the name Lumiel is relatively new and an invention to prevent too much kickback/controversy.

Around the same time I felt a pull to start working more intensively with the Dark Goddess once again, I could also sense Lucifer gently knocking on my door. Never have I ever, nor did I even think I would ever be ‘tempted’ (lol) to go down this path. However, my devotion to Sophia (Holy Wisdom) made me realise that it was out of fear and ignorance that I had not dared to explore the truth behind conventional teachings about Lucifer, Satan and the demonic realm.

The Demonic Realm and Christian Witchcraft

I also need to acknowledge and thank Sara Raztresen for piquing my interest in this subject in her book Christian Witchcraft. At first I dismissed her teaching on the demonic realm. I have since been guided to explore traditional witchcraft which involves the traditional figure of the devil, so I feel I need a more solid understanding of these concepts in general as well as relating to my own Craft.

If you are a witch, you will never stop learning and growing… unless you let religious programming stop you. Without first successfully religious trauma, I would not even look at this path as an alternative. So I fully understand that it’s not for everyone.

Connecting with Lucifer

Some claim you have to engage in elaborate high magick rituals to engage with Lucifer, create sigils, or perform lengthy invocations. They argue that only through complex ceremonies can one summon his presence or gain his favor. However, from my own experience, I have found that this is not necessarily true.

All it takes is placing yourself in the alpha brainwave state and invoking him with a sincere heart. Just by entering this state of mind—the same state achieved during light meditation or just before falling asleep—you can establish a connection with Lucifer.

Sit quietly, focus on your breathing, and allow your mind to drift into a calm, relaxed state. When you feel ready, speak with a sincere and open heart. Whether you call upon him with a specific incantation or simply talk to him as you would a friend, his presence will manifest. No elaborate rituals, no arcane symbols, just an honest and heartfelt invocation.

I found that I could ask him anything and receive an answer. Why is this so much easier than connecting with and hearing from the Christ, especially if they are aspects of the same intelligence? Religious programming. The Christ figure is part of the programming that says that you must rely on the Church and clergy to gain access. Yes, friends, we have been lied to but it wasn’t the serpent that lied…
