The Emotional Energy Body Tarot Spread

emotional body centres

The Emotional Energy Body Tarot Spread is based on the image you see above. It links emotions and physiological processes and can help us detect any blockages/unresolved trauma. In this Tarot spread for healing, the tarot card represents the trauma inflicted to help you resolve the issue through forgiveness, using EFT. See link for the tapping video further down and check out this FREE comprehensive guide to tapping.

Trauma doesn’t always have to be with a capital T and the kind that leads to severe mental health issues. Sometimes trauma just leads to a small blockage in the body’s energy system. This happens any time when what triggers or traumatises us exceeds our capability to cope with it.

“You have the power to heal your life, and you need to know that. We think so often that we are helpless, but we’re not. We always have the power of our minds. Claim and consciously use your power.”
― Louise L. Hay

How To Do An Emotional Body Tarot Reading

I used my mini Hanson-Roberts as the cards are just the right size!

So the diagram at the top of the post shows how emotions are connected to physiological processes. I copied the template above for learning purposes as well as to create a personalised layout sheet for the cards. I do not own the copyright to this template. Use either an A3-sized paper if you want to copy the diagram or do what I did, i.e. use a smaller deck.

Allow your eyes to be drawn to any cards you feel are problematic. It is not likely that every card is showing a blockage. Work your way through the blocked areas and write in your journal what you think they may relate to. If you feel certain that you have locked in the cause for the blockage, you may wish to tap on the trauma that caused it.

And here is a close-up of the energy body reading I did for myself… Now you try it!

  1. Thanks for the link, Lynniah. I was hoping that it would lead to a source I could credit but again, someone just 'came across' a picture and posted it on their blog. Kudos to whoever made these and next time, please put a link to your website at the bottom of the pic! 🙂

  2. First off I adore the Hansen Roberts Tarot! it was my first ever deck back when I first got started reading back in the '90s and I still have it but don't use it much since it seems so fragile now.
Secondly, this looks like a fun spread and I am going to do a reading for myself with it this morning I think :)Thank you for sharing it!
