Legacy of the Divine Special Edition (2008) Tarot Deck Interview

Magical decks come to us in magical ways. This special edition Legacy of the Divine Tarot arrived through a series of synchronicitous events that deserve a much longer blog post in their own right but the short version is that I bumped into Liz Dean and Jo Watkins on the way down to the London UK Tarot Conference. Liz had a meeting to attend before the start of the Conference and Jo and I had some time to kill, so Liz recommended a visit to Clearly Destiny, which is only about a ten minut walk away from Kings Cross station.

In the back of the shop, they had some second hand decks. My heart leapt with joy when I saw the Legacy of the Divine Tarot because I’d given my deck away to a friend but had come to realise that I really missed working with it. I thought this deck looked larger and more matte than I remembered my deck being but I wasn’t sure, so I asked around at the Conference and a couple of people confirmed that this was the 2008 Special Edition of Ciro Marchetti’s Legacy of the Divine Tarot.

As rare and collectable as this deck has turned out to be, what makes it truly special to me is that Lindsley, one of the shop owners, channelled through a message from my mediumship guide, Dominic. This in turn opened a channel of communication and later, back at the hotel, I was told to use this deck to communicate with him.

1. Describe yourself in one sentence.

LDT: By helping you get the fresh start you deserve now, today on the Full Moon in Aries. (The Fool)

6. Is there anything else you would like to tell me about yourself or our work together?

LDT: I am not keen on talking about myself. I’m here to alleviate the pain, fear and anxiety of mankind. I am a Warrior of the Lord from the angelic realm. The deck you have is ‘self-cleansing’ and the meeting between us was divinely ordained. I will always be here for you, to support you if you ever start doubting yourself. In other words, for any of the things that might keep you up at night, turn to me! (9 of Swords)
