This card combination reminds me of a Zen Buddhist quote that goes something like, ‘Meditate for an hour every day unless you are too busy – In that case meditate for two hours.’
The tumultuous energy of the past weekend may have left some of us with loose ends to tie up. Events and circumstances around us could be speeding up for other reasons too. It could relate to work, travel and messages that demand immediate action.
Every time you start feeling like your pulse is starting to race because of stress, take a deep breath and give thanks for the gift of time. Give thanks that you are never tested beyond your capabilities… and give thanks that all the means to help you deal with the task(s) at hand are available to you – including the help of a whole host of angels.
Time is relative. When we relax and trust we instantly have more time than if we allow ourselves to become rushed and stressed. When we take time to ground and centre, we do everything with greater efficiency and clarity.
The other thing I’m told to share is that there are things in your daily schedule that simply don’t need to be there any more. Constant checking of social media accounts is not adding anything to your quality of life – quite the contrary. So when the temptation arises, take a deep breath instead and give thanks for the gift of time. Then ask your Guardian Angel what the most useful thing you could do next would be if you are not entirely certain.
I was looking for quotes about time management and came across the quote below:
“It’s about focusing on the fight and not the fright.” – Robin Roberts
It reminded me of the upgraded tweetable quote in Friday’s Magdalene Message for the weekend. The above statement may be true for people who are still asleep… but once you awaken to your life purpose and path of divine service neither of those two will do because it becomes all about…[bctt tweet=”focusing on being the light” username=”LisaFrideborg”]
Those of us who know love has already won can transcend the old fear paradigm and the more often we choose to focus on being the light, the sooner this will happen.
“On every level of life, from housework to heights of prayer, in all judgment and efforts to get things done, hurry and impatience are sure marks of the amateur.”
– Evelyn Underhill
I pray that no matter what comes at you today, you will be able to breathe in peace so that you can remain grounded and centred through the day. Remember: Nothing is worth losing your peace of mind over. Absolutely NOTHING.
