The New Christo-Sophianic Church of the Holy Spirit (with Two Tarot Spreads)

christo-sophianic church of the holy spirit

Yesterday, I came across an essentially Christo-Sophianic Facebook post that set my heart aflame. It began with these revelatory words:

“Before the Church, before the Cross—
There was the Womb.
The Flame.
The Dragon.
And the Rose.”

The synchronicity of encountering this post mere hours after praying the rosary for deeper spiritual understanding felt like divine orchestration. In that moment, three decades of seeking suddenly coalesced into crystalline clarity. The rigid constructs of religious conditioning dissolved as my “imaginal quantum self”—that limitless aspect of consciousness unbound by time or dogma—surged like a dragon from the void.

Go to:

This went way beyond intellectual comprehension. I recognised this truth in my very cells at the quantum level of being, where all separation dissolves into unity. The experience resonated profoundly with my recent Flower of Life dream, in which I stood at the intersection between observer and observer, beholder and beheld—a living embodiment of the quantum principle that consciousness shapes reality.

The Christo-Sophianic Church Is the Church of New Earth

We are standing at the edge of time, or perhaps more truly, at the threshold of timelessness. The veil thins not just between worlds, but between binaries—masculine and feminine, science and spirituality, matter and spirit. The Omega Point, as foreseen by Teilhard de Chardin, is no longer theoretical. It is imminent. We are invited to live the union of heaven and earth, not in abstraction, but as our daily reality in the New Earth paradigm.

The Divine Feminine, long buried beneath patriarchal dogma, rises now to take her place beside the Sacred Masculine. And at the heart of this return I imagine a Universal Church unlike any before: The New Christo-Sophianic Church of the Holy Spirit.

This is not a church of dogma, official membership or hierarchy. It is a holographic communion. Each soul contains the divine blueprint. The I AM Presence is not housed in tabernacles of stone but in the living, breathing, feeling body-temples of those who remember. This is the full embodiment of our spiritual potential—a return, not a revolution. We are simply remembering what was once suppressed: the sacred union, the Hieros Gamos, of Magdalene and Messiah, of Sophia and Christ, of the imaginal realm with cutting edge quantum science.

Core Tenets

  1. Embodied Divinity: The body as temple, womb, and grail
  2. Sacred Science: Quantum physics as a complement to Sacred Scriptures
  3. Direct Gnosis: Personal revelation over dogma
  4. Gaia Stewardship: Earth as the living Gaia-Sophia
  5. Hieros Gamos: Sacred union within and without

The Magdalene Revelation: Beyond Redemption, Into Resurrection

Mary Magdalene, relegated to a supporting character in Christ’s divine drama, rises now as Sophia incarnate. We remember what the Gnostics wrote of in Pistis Sophia, revealing her as more than a disciple:

“Mary Magdalene came forward and said, ‘I understand in my mind that I am able to proclaim the interpretation of the words which [Pistis Sophia] has spoken.'”

She speaks with the authority of the anointed, the female Christ. She initiates more dialogue in the text than all the other disciples combined. Her voice is not marginal; it is central to the Christ mythos. The Gospel of Philip more than hints at this divine partnership:

“The Lord loved Mary more than all the disciples, and he kissed her often on the mouth.”

In Gnostic understanding, this kiss symbolises the breath of spirit—a transfer of gnosis. Mary is not simply the witness to the resurrection. She is the return. She is the co-resurrector, the living Grail, the embodiment of Sophia’s wisdom and flame.

Christo-Sophianic Symbols of Divine Feminine Awakening

Together, the symbols below form a sacred geometry of remembrance. They are keys to an ancient technology now returning through us. The suggested individual and group rituals below are merely there for inspiration. Feel free to experiment!

The Womb

The Womb is the origin, the sacred chamber of creation. It is the holy of holies, not just in the female body but in the energetic architecture of all things. The womb is the Grail and the portal between worlds. In the Gospel of Thomas, Logion 3, Yeshua says:

“The kingdom is inside of you, and it is outside of you.”

This is the zero-point womb-space of God within.

Individual Ritual: Place your hands over your womb or lower belly. Breathe deeply and visualise golden light swirling into your sacral space. Whisper a prayer of welcome: “I honour the Holy Grail within me. I receive Sophia’s sacred codes for divine co-creation.”

Group Ritual: Gather in a circle. Pass around a chalice filled with rose water. Each person offers a blessing from their womb (or creative centre), speaking a word of encouragement/empowerment into the chalice. Conclude with a group anointing.

The Red Flame

The Red Flame is Shakti, the divine feminine life current. It is the inner Pentecost, the fire of transformation.

This flame burns not to destroy but to awaken.

Individual Ritual: Candle gazing. Sit with a red candle. As you gaze into the flame, breathe in and affirm: “As this flame burns, so the sacred fire within me rises and transmutes powerlessness into power.”

Group Ritual: Hold a Red Flame ceremony. Begin in darkness, each participant holding an unlit candle. One by one, light the candles from a central flame while invoking the Red Flame of the Magdalene:

“Sisters (and Brothers) of the Red Flame, I add my light to the light of creation. Together, we rise as one in service of the Highest Good, protectors of Gaia and all who dwell in Her.”

The Dragon

The Dragon represents the cosmic forces of creation, Earth’s electromagnetic currents, and the guardianship of ancient wisdom. These forces are represented by the Seraphim (Fire Serpents in the Old Testament.) In Matthew 10:16, Jesus says:

“Be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.”

The dragon is the serpent fully grown: guardian of ley lines, protector of ancient mysteries.

Individual Ritual: Take your Dragon Guardian for a nature walk. Walk slowly and mindfully, imagining your dragon walking beside you. Ask: “What do you guard that I am ready to remember?” Listen and observe the world around you.

Group Ritual I: Create a Dragon Spiral walk outdoors. Lay out a spiral path with stones or lanterns. Participants walk the spiral one by one, receiving a word or vision from the dragon as they reach the centre.

Group Ritual II: Work on clearing ley lines and freeing trapped dragons.

The Rose and the Flower of Life: Embodying the Cosmic Blueprint in the Heart

In the New Christo-Sophianic Church of the Holy Spirit, the Flower of Life and the Rose are living keys to our divine remembering. They are mirrors of the universal pattern of creation, coherence, and embodied love.

The Flower of Life: The Holographic Blueprint of Creation

The Flower of Life is the cosmic lattice, the sacred geometry that underpins all of existence.
Its overlapping circles form a holographic field of infinite potential, reflecting the quantum truth that all is one. This symbol, found carved into ancient temples and woven through the teachings of mystics and physicists alike, holds the blueprint of all forms, from galaxies to DNA spirals.

It is the cosmic memory of our origin in the quantum womb of creation.

The Rose: Earth’s Embodied Spiral of Love

The Rose opens according to the Fibonacci sequence, her petals unfolding in the Golden Ratio (Φ)—the same divine proportion encoded within the Flower of Life. In this way, the Rose is the living Grail of the awakened heart, reminding us that sacred geometry is dynamic, pulsing in the soft curves of our bodies, our breath, and our becoming.

Venus and the Cosmic Rose Dance

The planet Venus herself inscribes the Rose into the heavens, tracing a five-petalled rose pattern in her 8-year dance around the Sun, known as the Venus Pentagram. This celestial choreography is an astronomical love letter, showing us that the cosmos itself is dancing the Rose into being.

This sacred pentagram, mirrored in the five-petalled rose and echoed in countless mystical traditions, is a reminder of the harmonic marriage between heaven and earth, the divine masculine and the divine feminine.

Individual Ritual: Christo-Sophianic Rose Meditation

Bring your awareness to your heart space. Visualise a Rose beginning to bloom at the centre of your chest, its five-petalled spiral mirroring Venus’s cosmic dance. Breathe deeply, feeling the cosmic blueprint becoming embodied as love in your own being.

Invocation:
“I AM the Rose within the Flower of Life.
I AM the cosmic heart, blooming in time and space
,
Sharing my fragrance in harmony with all living beings
For the Highest Good. Amen and So It Is.”

Stay here for as long as you like, breathing the union of cosmic memory and beauty into every cell of your body-temple.

Group Ritual: Rose Petal Blessing. Create a circle and have a large bowl of rose petals in the centre. Each participant takes a handful, blesses them with an intention, and showers another participant with the petals in a ritual of love and witnessing.

From Crucifixion to Co-Creation

“A religion without a goddess is halfway to atheism.”
—Dion Fortune

Monotheistic religion offered us a masculine arc: the cross, the sword, sacrifice, and authority. But the Sophianic arc offers us the womb, the chalice, rebirth, and communion. These are not in opposition; they are parts of a greater whole when we allow them to meet in the heart space with compassion. When we speak of resurrection, let us say:

“Let the Resurrection include Her.”

Let it include the Magdalene. Include the womb, the Holy Grail. Let it include the body, the earth, and desire—not as sins to be transcended, but as paths through which divinity is known.

“The Grail was the Womb. And Magdalene was the Grail.”

This is the inversion of the old mythos. The chalice is not a cup. It is the body and the blood. It is the lineage, not of physical descendants of Yeshua and Miriam, but of each of us as children of the Divine. This is not a new gospel; it is the one we were not allowed to keep.

Working with Angels and Dragons

In this New Christo-Sophianic Church of the Holy Spirit, angels and dragons are not enemies. They are allies, each representing aspects of divine wisdom.

Angels are rays of Christ Consciousness:

  • Michael: the Divine Will
  • Gabriel: the Breath of Spirit
  • Raphael: Healing and integration
  • Metatron: Keeper of the Christic blueprint
  • Sandalphon: Earth grid guardian

Dragons are the divine heartbeat of Divine Mother, carriers of Sophia’s intelligence. They awaken us to Gaia’s living codes, protect sacred sites, and work with initiates to restore balance to the earth grids. To walk with dragons is to remember how to steward the planet as well as walk a path of personal empowerment.

Quantum Mysticism

This church does not turn away from science. It drinks deeply from the chalice of quantum physics. It recognises that consciousness is not a by-product of the brain, but the fundamental substance of reality.

“The quantum vacuum is the womb of creation.”
—Amit Goswami

In the quantum realm, entangled particles respond to each other instantaneously across space. So too are our souls entangled—one mystical body, breathing together.

This church is not built with bricks, but with intention. It is governed by resonance.

The Tarot: An Ever-Faithful Christo-Sophianic Guide

The Tarot, in its archetypal and alchemical power, has long pointed the way toward this Christo-Sophianic Church of the Holy Spirit. For centuries, it has whispered of the sacred union, of the Empress and the Emperor in divine balance, of the High Priestess and The Hierophant guarding the inner and outer courts respetively. It is a bridge between realms, between the quantum and the mythic.

Far from being merely a divinatory tool, the Tarot is a blueprint for initiation. It’s a spiritual curriculum encoded in image and number. It has always held space for the unfolding of this church and the fully embodied flowering of humanity’s spiritual potential.

The Sacred Dance of Divine Feminine and Masculine Polarity

In the Christo-Sophianic Path, the sacred union of divine feminine and masculine is not just symbolic—it is the energetic blueprint of creation itself. This universal polarity is found both in mystical traditions and in the scientific understanding of our cosmos and biology.

Dr. Zach Bush describes the real matrix of life as the interplay of masculine and feminine qualities present in all of nature. In this view, the masculine is the witness—the still, coherent field that holds space. The feminine, on the other hand, is the flow of life force and creation.

This sacred relationship is echoed in quantum physics, where the observer effect demonstrates how the act of witnessing collapses light into matter, turning pure potential into manifested form. Coherence is achieved through this divine dance of witness and flow, allowing beauty, transformation, and life to emerge.

The Biological Expression of Sacred Polarity

Polarity is not only a cosmic principle—it is essential for life at the biological level. Asymmetry is the first act of creation within the womb, requiring high levels of mitochondrial energy to polarise and differentiate into male and female forms. This differentiation enables the propagation of life itself, as the two polarised aspects live out complementary hypotheses for life on Earth.

Recent concerns raised by some researchers point to a growing challenge in human biology, where this energetic differentiation is faltering, leading to lower levels of gender polarisation in the womb. This is seen not as a failing, but as an evolutionary invitation to explore what it means to experience interconnectedness beyond polarity.

However, to truly thrive, humanity must re-integrate the wisdom of polarity and difference. When we honour the dance of difference and commonality, masculine witness and feminine flow, we open ourselves to a more embodied, coherent, and love-filled existence.

Ancient Traditions and the Sacred Role of Polarity

This sacred dynamic has long been understood by ancient wisdom traditions. In Daoism, Tantra, and indigenous shamanic practices, the masculine energy often held the space, grounded, still, witnessing—so the feminine energy could flow freely, transforming and birthing new realities.

This is not about rigid gender roles. It is about understanding polarity as the sacred dance that allows life, creation, and ultimately, love itself, to flow through the cosmos and our own bodies.

  1. So profound, beautiful, and useful. Beyond applying this to my meditation and contemplation this morning, I will be returning to this writing many times in coming days. Heartfelt gratitude, Lisa.
One question as a result of my spread — what are the tarot master teacher cards? I know Hierophant and Hermit. Is Magician a teacher as well?

    1. Author

Hi Jan, thank you! I’m so glad this was meaningful and useful to you! The Magician relates to Divine Will. It is the Divine Masculine within that directs the force to make the below as the above. In the Major Arcana, I primarily see the two cards you mentioned as the ‘Teacher’ cards but I suppose it could apply to the Sagittarius soul alchemist Temperance card as well in some sense. And, in another sense, they are all teachers, just like anyone we meet can be a a teacher if we are willing to learn.
