Today, I’m sharing the same for his counterpart, Archangel Metatron. And while I have written about Archangel Metatron before, I am aware that I have not yet introduced him properly. Nor have I shared a tarot spread that will help you connect with Metatron’s energy. So today, we are getting to know Metatron properly and with the help of Metatron’s Cube Tarot Spread.

Who Is Archangel Metatron?
When invoking the Archangels, Metatron is invoked above, typically after invoking Archangel Raphael in the East (Air), Michael in the South (Fire), Gabriel in the West (Water) and Uriel in the North (Earth). Finally, we invoke Archangel Sandalphon, Guardian of Gaia, below.
For the purpose of an angelic invocation, Metatron connects us with the Central Sun and the grid of Christ Light that emanates from there. But who is this powerful angelic being? According to Kabbalistic lore, Metatron is the Angel of the Presence or the ‘lesser Yaweh.’ His name is not mentioned in the Bible. However, the Bible does mention the man Enoch, father of Methuselah, who, according to legend, ascended to Heaven to become Archangel Metatron.
Many Christians believe that the man Enoch will return at the end times, together with the prophet Elijah, as one of the two witnesses mentioned in the Book of Revelation. Metatron, on the other hand, gets no mention in traditional, exoteric Christianity other than to deny his importance.
Some equate Metatron with Archangel Michael. However, the role of Archangel Michael is to protect those who have faith in God, whereas the role of Metatron is to act more as a scribe and record-keeper. You could say that Metatron is the head librarian of the Akashic Records.
What Is Metatron’s Cube?
Metatron’s Cube is a sacred geometric pattern named after Archangel Metatron. It is a two-dimensional representation of a 3D object. Metatron’s Cube is composed of interconnected lines that form a pattern resembling a grid of overlapping circles.
It is believed to contain the fundamental building blocks of creation and can be used as a powerful tool for meditation and manifestation. Metatron’s Cube is associated with divine energy, balance, and spiritual growth.
The interconnectedness of the lines in Metatron’s Cube represents the unity and interdependence of all things in the universe. Meditating on Metatron’s Cube harmonises and balances energy, allowing for greater clarity, healing, and spiritual alignment.
The 3D building blocks (also known as the Platonic Solids) of creation represented in 2D in Metatron’s cube are as follows:
Tetrahedron – Fire
The Tetrahedron represents Fire and symbolises harmony, balance, and stability. It is a pyramid shape.
Hexahedron – Earth
The Hexahedron is a cube-shaped symbol of Earth, representing its solidity and firmness.
Octahedron – Air
The Octahedron represents Air with its smooth shape made of eight equilateral triangles.
Icosahedron – Water
The Icosahedron represents Water. It has 20 triangles and is the shape with the most faces among the Platonic Solids.
Dodecahedron – Ether
The Dodecahedron is linked to the element called ether, aka spirit or the quintessence, which is considered the causal element that gives birth to the other four elements.
Air comes from the movement of ether, fire comes from the frition of air, water comes from fire becoming denser, and earth comes from the coagulation of water.
How Archangel Metatron Can Help You
The primary areas of our lives that Archangel Metatron can help us with are our ascension journey and understanding of esoteric principles. He can also help with getting more organised and with warping time in our favour.
According to some sources, Metatron is the angel who watches over the souls of children and babies who die prematurely. He is also known to help adults and carers who work with sensitive children.
Metatron is the champion of anyone whose goal in life is to be of divine service for the Highest Good. He helps you move forward on your path of service if you ever feel stuck.
Signs that Archangel Metatron Is With You
As with all angels and archangels, you must ask to connect with Metatron. He won’t just pop around uninvited. But it is important to remember that he is not foreign to you or your soul. In some ways, you can see him as a higher aspect of yourself and part of your I AM presence. To imagine him looking a certain way or dressing a certain way is as futile as imagining a white-bearded old man representing God.
That said, Metatron does have a distinctive energetic signature that translates into colours, sounds and numbers. So here are the signs that Metatron is with you:
- Downloads of geometric shapes and patterns
- Seeing multiples of the numbers 1 and 7
- The colours gold and platinum
- The sound of a rushing mighty wind
- Pressure and tingling in your crown chakra

The connection between Archangel Metatron and The Chariot lies in their shared themes of empowerment and taking charge of one’s life. Both encourage us to harness our inner strength and willpower to navigate through challenges and manifest our goals.
When we invoke Metatron, he can offer guidance and support in aligning our actions with our soul’s purpose. He assists us in finding balance and harmony in our lives, just as The Chariot represents the need for balance and control in order to move forward.
Metatron’s Cube Tarot Spread

This card illuminates how you can better manage and use your time to achieve your goals. It can, for instance, show you something you need to do less of in order to save time. While Metatron can help us warp/manipulate time in a pinch, this works best if we have already put our best foot forward.
5. Divine Service
This card concerns your mission blueprint in this lifetime. It will offer insights into how you can fulfil your purpose and make a positive impact in the world.
Card 6: Connection with Children or the Inner Child
This card represents your connection with children and your ability to nurture and support them. It will highlight any areas where you can enhance your role as a caretaker or advocate for sensitive children. If you have no contact with children, this card shows you how to care for your inner child. Read with card three if reading about your inner child. It will become clear if you need to play more for your soul to be happy.
Card 7: Next Step On Your Path of Service
This final card reveals the next step on the path of divine service that Archangel Metatron is guiding you towards. It will provide clarity on how to align with your soul’s purpose and contribute to the highest good of all. Read together with card 5.
