Together with The Tower, The Chariot corresponds to the Solar Plexus Chakra. It’s a card of personal power through the ability to control two opposing forces, something we (hopefully) learn to master between the ages of 14-21.

Anger management issues could be indicated both with The Chariot and its numerological ‘twin,’ The Tower. The Chariot is more passive-aggressive than the overtly aggressive Tower card.
Positive personal development on the level of The Chariot indicates a healthy sense of self and the ability to keep one’s cool under difficult circumstances.
There is a connection to early childhood issues as well as karmic lessons with this card due to the South Node/4th House correspondence. Internal conflict could be indicated because of nebulous emotions connected to the distant past surfacing from the unconscious realms. Opening up to intuitively receive information about this is part of the healing message of The Chariot.
Regression therapy, hypnotherapy and dreamwork are indicated when this card is reversed or ill-dignified, signalling trouble on the solar plexus chakra level. Moonstone can be used to facilitate the emergence of subconscious intel that will speed the healing work along.
Sea salt has protective properties and serves to draw out the dirt hiding in the murky waters of the subconscious. Magickally, it can be used to protect the home sphere which falls under the auspice of Cancer/The Chariot.

The Chariot Through The Elements
In the Element of Air, The Chariot excels through the ability of focusing thought energy.
The Chariot displays magickal genius and extraordinary willpower or suffers from anger management problems in the Element of Fire.
In Water, the Chariot can become over-sensitive and easily influenced. On a more positive note, this is where the intuitive powers of the Chariot come to the fore.
In the Earth Element, the caring and compassionate traits of The Chariot shine. However, the Earth-bound Chariot personality type person can become stuck in the past and gather dust in old houses in the country together with his collection of antiques.

LOVE AND RELATIONSHIPS
The Chariot corresponds to the solar plexus chakra and to the Zodiac sign of Cancer. Lessons concerning personal power and control issues fall under the influence of The Chariot.
Beware of Power Dynamics
In the relationship, this card is not so much a card of togetherness but of personal ambition and can mean that one of you is shutting the other out by virtue of being preoccupied with your own goals. Ill-dignified or reversed it can be an indication of passive-aggressive behaviour or being emotionally manipulative.
However, The Chariot can also be a positive indication of having your temper under control and working well as a team. Like the black and white horse in the Tarot card image above, you are united by a common ambition (the charioteer) and pulling in the same direction despite your individual differences.
The Chariot as your Love interest
If this card describes your lover, s/he could be a generous, outwardly successful and caring person but also extremely sensitive and tend to withdraw rather than share their hurt with you. They could be giving too much of themselves and feel hurt when the giving is not reciprocated. Rather than be direct about their needs, they may be emotionally manipulative in order to protect their soft inner core.
Surrounding cards will give you more clues and show you whether they are extremely generous (too generous!) or withholding completely. Their life lesson is about finding the balance between the two as well as about defining personal boundaries.
They could also have a tendency toward sentimentality and find it difficult to let go of the past. Being a hoarder is an outward expression of this type of emotional resistance to letting go. At their worst, they can be what is best described as a ‘grumpy old git.’
The Chariot and intimacy
On an intimate level, this is one of the cards that could signify sexual withholding as an expression of passive-aggressiveness. If it comes up as advice in a reading about your romantic connection, it can indicate a romp in the Jacuzzi or going skinny dipping by moonlight… or perhaps even a second honeymoon to the seaside!
